The total market value of NFTs reached approximately $6.6 billion in July, marking a robust recovery and reinforcing renewed investor interest in the digital art space. According to data compiled by DappRadar, NFT trading volume, active wallets, and marketplace revenue all jumped sharply during the month.
DappRadar’s report highlights a 45 percent increase in overall marketplace activity, with top projects such as CryptoPunks and Bored Ape Yacht Club leading gains. Growing momentum was fueled in part by renewed institutional interest in tokenized art and collectible assets during bullish cryptocurrency cycles.
Analysts note that while NFT price spikes remain speculative, the return of demand and liquidity suggests stronger underlying engagement. Notable players such as Sotheby’s and Christie’s continue to invest in digital art auctions, further legitimizing the asset class.
The report also flags emerging use cases like gaming, metaverse identity, and real world ownership as key drivers of long term growth. As NFT platforms strengthen community tools and developer integrations, analysts expect the $6.6 billion milestone to reflect not just hype but a deeper trend in digital ownership models.
