Binance Surpasses 275 Million Registered Users, Cementing Rapid Global Expansion

Binance, the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange and blockchain infrastructure provider, announced today a historic milestone: it has surpassed 275 million registered users worldwide. This remarkable growth includes 80 million new users acquired since January 2024 alone, averaging approximately 1.8 new sign-ups per second. This achievement confirms Binance’s position among the fastest-growing digital platforms in history.

The company’s expansion trajectory rivals some of the biggest names in tech and digital entertainment, such as Netflix, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Binance’s community is not just a passive audience but a dynamic network of investors, savers, and active participants in the evolving financial ecosystem.

“There is a fundamental difference to emphasize,” said Gianluigi Guida, CEO of Binance Italy. “When 275 million people join a social network, it marks cultural relevance. But when the same number join a financial platform, it signals trust—in the platform, its products, and the vision of the future of money. These 275 million users have consciously chosen to embrace a new financial era.”

Binance’s growth has accelerated dramatically in recent years. It took nearly five years to reach its first 100 million users, but only about two years to add the next 100 million. The latest 75 million users have joined in less than a year, underscoring a significant transformation within the crypto industry. Since January 2024, over 156,000 people have registered with Binance every single day worldwide.

Binance’s Role in Financial Inclusion and Innovation

Unlike platforms focused on content engagement, Binance enables users to actively manage real financial assets, making this milestone more than a mere statistic. It reflects a profound shift in how the world interacts with money.
Binance’s innovation has extended to markets traditionally underserved by conventional finance, driving real-world adoption from daily payments to emergency aid. For instance, in Italy, Binance made its first blockchain donation to a local hospital, contributing the equivalent of over €500,000 to fund new outpatient clinics at Rome’s Policlinico Gemelli.

This milestone signals Binance’s commitment to building a future where cryptocurrencies are not just an option but a necessity, offering financial empowerment on a global scale.
