XRP Ledger welcomes three new global stablecoins

XRP Ledger has integrated three new global stablecoins: EURØP, USDB, and XSGD. These additions aim to strengthen Ripple’s DeFi ecosystem and enhance cross-border payments.

EURØP is a euro-denominated stablecoin compliant with the European Union’s MiCA regulation, while USDB is a dollar-pegged stablecoin issued by the Brazilian group Braza. XSGD, on the other hand, is pegged to the Singapore dollar.

The integration of these stablecoins on the XRP Ledger provides new opportunities for faster, cheaper, and more secure transactions, facilitating the adoption of blockchain solutions in traditional financial sectors. Furthermore, these stablecoins help reduce the volatility typically associated with cryptocurrencies, making them more attractive to both users and institutions.

Expanding the stablecoin offering on the XRP Ledger marks a significant step toward global interoperability and financial inclusion, underlining Ripple’s commitment to driving innovation in digital payments.
