Bitget Wallet Enables Fiat Withdrawals Through MoonPay Integration

Bitget Wallet has unveiled its first direct fiat withdrawal option via partnership with MoonPay, enabling users to convert stablecoins such as USDT and USDC into fiat currency across 25 supported currencies. Withdrawals now send funds directly to linked bank cards or PayPal accounts, without requiring a centralized exchange.

Previously, users had to transfer funds to services like Bitget Exchange for fiat conversion. The new off ramp feature streamlines the process within self custody wallets, offering an integrated experience for digital asset conversion.

MoonPay’s role handles compliance and onboarding, while Bitget manages currency support and fiat rail infrastructure. The initial rollout supports USDT and USDC, with plans to add more stablecoins later.

Market analysts see the launch as a response to growing demand for seamless crypto utility mirroring consumer expectations in the DeFi era. While still subject to standard AML/KYC norms, the feature empowers users to manage their assets end to end without centralized intermediaries.

As wallet providers increasingly incorporate transactional capabilities, Bitget’s move may pressure competitors to enhance fiat connectivity and self custody features, expanding ecosystem usability.
