Bitget Wallet has launched its first fiat withdrawal capability through a partnership with MoonPay, allowing users to convert USDT and USDC into fiat currencies in app. Previously, users had to transfer assets to exchanges for conversion. The new feature supports over 25 fiat currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, and AUD and is available in 61 regions worldwide. Withdrawals can be sent to bank cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, or credit/debit cards.
The minimum withdrawal amount is around $20, with fees typically ranging from 3 to 4 percent depending on currency and network fees. Bitget’s chief marketing officer explained that the MoonPay infrastructure handles KYC and AML compliance, while Bitget facilitates the fiat pipeline. This update significantly enhances the non custodial wallet’s functionality users no longer need to rely on centralized exchanges to enter or exit fiat.
This integration marks a shift in wallet design philosophy, prioritizing user autonomy and seamless crypto fiat interaction. It also reflects growing demand from self custody users for compliant on ramps and off ramps. Analysts suggest the move lowers the barrier for new adopters and reinforces Bitget Wallet’s utility in everyday crypto lifecycle management.
