Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has announced promising progress on the audit of Input Output Global’s ADA holdings, saying the document is “shaping up quickly” and targeting a mid August public release. The audit was spurred by questions over alleged misappropriation during the 2021 Allegra hard fork, and Hoskinson confirmed he will read the full report in a livestream, showcasing transparency and accountability.
Hoskinson has also engaged defamation counsel in response to the allegations, signaling a readiness to hold accusers accountable. The audit’s goal is to unequivocally detail past transactions and treasury balances, rebuild community trust and showcase procedural clarity. If delivered as promised, this initiative could strengthen Cardano’s governance model and pioneer transparency in blockchain project leadership.
