Chili makes a deal with Coinbar to accept crypto

Chili has signed an agreement with Coinbar, the only exchange in the world with restaurants located in the area, which will allow its customers to pay in cryptocurrencies using the CoinbarPay payment system, recently released by the Italian company and which already has clients. Thanks to this agreement, the exchange will be able to reach about 5 and a half million customers who are registered in Chili, located in the major European countries.

Coinbar is a company founded in 2018, which has decided to go beyond the metaverse by creating physical places that serve as both a restaurant and a meeting point for blockchain and cryptocurrency enthusiasts, essential for creating blockchain culture and explaining to more people possible the advantages derived from its various uses. Now thanks to the agreement with the exchange, the streaming platform from June 15 will introduce a payment system based on virtual money for the purchase and rental of films and TV series.

Unlike ATMs and credit cards, the solution CoinbarPay offered by the exchange does not provide for additional charges for either the seller or the buyer, and gives the possibility to pay invoices and receipts with their crypto savings in a way that is perfectly compliant with the recent EU regulations on anti-money laundering and taxation.
The fact that shops and large companies are getting closer to accepting crypto is a good step forward for adoption, it is only thanks to massive adoption that the power of this technology can be asserted.
